Ki Gillispie was born in Kansas and spent his young life there through High School graduation. Ki served in the U.S. Navy from 2001 to 2006, carrying out assignments at Naval Hospital Pensacola and Fleet Hospital 3 in Iraq.
Soon after his honorable discharge, he completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Illinois University. Ki holds both Bachelor and Master degrees in Management, attending graduate school at Troy University. And, is currently earning a Doctor of Business Administration degree. He also holds Licensure in Mortgage Loan Origination, and is Certified in Sensitive Security Information through the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security.
Ki has gained over 16 years of management experience through performing superior leadership positions. In addition to his Naval involvement, he held the title of Sr. Project Manager and Analyst with the Department of Defense, where he significantly improved the effectiveness and highly increased efficiencies within the program. He has provided auto-lending to countless satisfied clients, when he executed roles as a Business and Finance Manager with General Motors. As a General Operations Manager for multiple struggling franchise locations in the Southeast, he boosted employee morale, and directed nearly 60 employees to enrich customer service, and provided the tools to diminish financial errors between the business and its client base, among other enhancements.
Ki entered the mortgage industry in 2011, and has provided stellar financial services and quality customer care for endless clients in AL, LA, MS, & TX. He still operates as a loan officer since he truly enjoys helping others. Though, he is very passionate about business strategy and growth, executing direction as the Vice President of Alabama Development, at his second home, Reliant Mortgage. When asked, “second home?” He relies, “yes, I absolutely love our company culture that has clients as Priority One, combined with stellar efficient, effective, and innovative processes. This makes it easy for all involved, from Borrowers and Realtors, to Title and Insurance Companies. Further, Ki has been recognized for significantly contributing to the attainment of awards that include the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) Excellence in Practice Award; OPTIMAS Award for General Excellence; Top 125, Training Magazine; and Top 50 Employer Chief of Naval Operations and Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) Training Excellence Award. His Naval Decorations include Presidential Unit Citation, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Letter of Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
